As a devoted book lover, I’ve always been spellbound by the magic of storytelling. Its ability to connect us, transport us, and inspire us is, to me, the most fantastic example of magic.

Hello, I’m Rachel—founder of Wildflower Editorial. Here, I offer professional editorial and writing services to children’s, young adult, and new adult fiction authors around the globe. Whether you aspire to traditional publication or aim to self-publish, I’m here to help you cultivate the story that lives within your heart.

I help passionate fiction authors to develop their stories, connect with their readers, and refine their craft. Together, we can nurture books that stand out from the crowd.

Anyone can follow a formula to write a book, but extraordinary tales need a touch of magic to truly thrive. Let’s work together to transform your book into a blossoming wonder that captivates readers and sparks their imagination.

Are you ready to embark on this adventure with Wildflower Editorial?

It's time to make your book blossom!

From the Editor

MY EDITING PHILOSOPHY

At its root, an editor’s role is to help an author communicate with their intended audience.

As an editor, I want to help you take your manuscript from bud to blossom and cultivate a book to delight your readers.

I am committed to preserving your unique style and voice––helping you to refine your words or story, so your manuscript resonates with readers.

My philosophy as an editor sits in line with famous editor Maxwell Perkins––the man who edited Hemingway––who said:

“An editor does not add to a book. At best, he serves as a handmaiden to an author. Don’t ever get to feeling important about yourself, because an editor, at most, releases energy. A writer’s best work comes entirely from himself (sic) . . . because in the end, an editor can only get as much out of an author as the author has (sic).”
